If you believe that the ruby should be the focus of your ring, then this is the ring for you. I have keep this ruby engagement ring as minimal as possible, with straight, clean, modern lines. The ring gently coils around your finger, and then comes together at the front to hold the gem. The gem is held from only two points allowing light to flood into the gem, and allowing the carefully selected ruby to display all of its fire and color. This is not a ring for the faint of heart.
This ring is about 3 mm wider than the gem to allow for the double overlap of metal. Each portion of the band is about 1.5 mm wide. Thus a 6.00 mm gem will result in a setting about 9 mm wide. Although that may sound a bit wide, the Pointed Twist of Fate ring is a very light and comfortable setting. The ring is fully comfort fit.
